This is a common question from our new customers who haven’t yet discovered the benefits of these wonderful all natural, eco-conscious moisturizers. Deeply hydrating, pleasant to use, and travel-friendly, lotion bars are gaining popularity and can be a great plastic-free alternative to bottled lotions. We use metal tins and also sell a refill option without the tin for slightly less so you can re-use your tin!
One of the biggest advantages of lotion bars is that they are made entirely from oils and butters, contain no water, and do not require a preservative. As a result, lotion bars can be a more effective, health-conscious choice. Liquid lotions are primarily water, which means more chemicals, preservatives and things that we do not need to rub everywhere on our bodies! The solid lotion bars have ZERO water, no preservatives and no toxins!
How Long Will a Lotion Bar Last?
Depending on frequency of use, lotion bars can last as long as a bottle of liquid lotion. Keeping them in a warm, dry place, away from water, and out of direct sunlight will extend their shelf live almost indefinitely.
